Bengal Warrior’s top raider Maninder Singh is celebrating his 28th birthday today. He is the top class attacking raider in the Pro Kabaddi League. Maninder is a combination of speed and immense strength which he uses to push away any defender trying to block him. He is a smart player and plays a very calculative game.

1) Maninder Singh was born on 1st January 1990 in Dasuya, Punjab, India.

2) In his school time, Maninder started playing Kabaddi. He joined the Shaheed Bhagat Singh kabaddi club to learn Kabaddi skills.

3) The debut season of Pro Kabaddi saw Maninder Singh finish third in the list of top raiders and win the title with Jaipur Pink Panthers. He took 130 raid points there. Maninder missed PKL season 2, 3 and 4 due to injury. He returned in Season 5 of the league. He was Bengal Warriors’ leading raider in Season 5 with 190 points.

4) Maninder Singh holds the record of scoring fastest 400 and 500 raid points in PKL history. Having running hand touch as a signature move Maninder is known for his ability to outsmart defenders. In PKL 6 Maninder clinched 206 raid points from 22 matches.
