70th Men’s & Women’s State Kabaddi Championships & Selection Trials Maharashtra To Start From Today

Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India will organize Senior National Kabaddi Championships in the upcoming months. For that, State Kabaddi Associations have started selection process on state level.

Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association & Ahmednagar District Amateur Kabaddi Association is conducting 70th Men’s & Women’s State Kabaddi Championships & Selection Trials.

The competition will be held from today 27th to 30th December. Ahmednagar district is the venue of this competition. Ahmednagar & Pune are defending champions in men’s & women’s category respectively.

20 best performers from the State Level Championship will be part of state team for Senior National Tournament. This tournament will decide the teams of Maharashtra at Senior National.

In this championship, 25 teams are categorized into 8 groups i.e. 4 teams in 5 groups & 5 teams in 1 group. This is how teams are classified into different pools.
