India’s defeat will make Pro Kabaddi more interesting, says Abhishek Bachchan
Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan reacted on India’s loss at Asian Games 2018 in a rather positive way. He said that this loss will make Pro Kabaddi League interesting than ever before as other teams now have a point to prove themselves.
Abhishek Bachchan is the owner of Jaipur Pink Panthers, a franchise of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). Jaipur Pink Panthers were the inaugural champions of Pro Kabaddi League in 2014 and were the runner-ups in PKL season 4 in 2016.
The actor says that this defeat of our Indian team is heartbreaking for all of us. We have won 7 consecutive Gold medals and were expecting 8th to win in Asian Games.
But this loss will also be an alarm to the side that there are teams who can beat the dominant side, which was not the case earlier. From now on the complacent attitude is what team India should brush off their shoulders.
Everything good or bad thing happens for a reason. So instead of being discouraged we must take the positives from this. Now we can also say that our indigenous game Kabaddi is reaching new heights at global level.
Abhishek Bachchan is always seen at the stadium supporting and cheering his team. He is always seen encouraging the team since the PKL Season 1 despite a win or loss.
