Dabang Delhi to organize ‘Red Bull Tashan’ championship
Dabang Delhi Kabaddi Club, a Pro Kabaddi League franchise, to launch inter-zonal private Kabaddi tournament. It will be the biggest Kabaddi tournament of North-India.
The championship named ‘Red Bull Tashan’ will witness 90 teams. These 90 teams will be from Delhi, NCR zones, Gurugram, and Noida. This platform is for the 16-21-year-old Kabaddi players to show their skills.
Its first phase will be in Gurugram on 8th and 9th September. The second will be held on September 11th and 12th in Delhi. The last phase of Noida to take place on 15th and 16th September.
Red Bull Tashan final will be played on September 22 at Ambience Mall, Gurugram. The winning team will get an opportunity to train with Dabang Delhi K.C. team before the PKL season 6.
“While the Pro Kabaddi League has brought the sport of Kabaddi into the limelight, we feel there is a lot of opportunity to build the sport at the grassroot level. We firmly believe that Red Bull Tashan is a high-rewarding platform, for young talent to showcase their talent and potential,” Radha Kapoor Khanna, founder and executive director of DO-IT Sports Management who owns Dabang Delhi, said.
” Dabang Delhi K.C. and Red Bull are united in furthering the development of Kabaddi. Dabang Delhi K.C. will also use this tournament as a scouting exercise to give young players the opportunity to be professional players in the coming seasons. We are confident that this association will enable the sport of Kabaddi to scale newer heights in Delhi NCR,” Khanna said in a statement.
