With creating major upset in league’s history UP Yoddha becomes the final team to go through the PKL 6 playoffs

Yesterday (27th December) at Pro Kabaddi League UP Yoddha won over Bengal Warriors 41-25. From Zone B, UP Yoddha has become the last team to qualify for the playoffs of the sixth edition of PKL.

UP Yoddha ended journey of three times defending champions Patna Pirates in PKL 6. For the first time in the league’s history Patna will not be seen in the qualifiers.

UP Yoddha has played 22 matches. Out of 22, they have successfully won 8 matches, lost 10 and tied four matches. They have 60 points and holds the third position in Zone A points standings. In the last season also they were got qualified for the playoffs.

Raider Shrikant Jadhav who has 125 raid points from 22 matches is the top raider for UP Yoddha. Nitesh Kumar is the top defender for them with having 83 tackle points of 22 matches.
