Spectators galore at the 66th Senior National Kabaddi Championship
The sixth campaign of India’s biggest Kabaddi festival Pro Kabaddi League was wrapped up on 5th January 2019. Still, there is a Kabaddi atmosphere in the country.
Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) recognized and Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association organized 66th Men’s Senior National Kabaddi Championship has started from 28th to 31st January 2019.
D. G. Tatkare Krida Nagri, Mhada Society Ground, Roha tehsil, Raigad district, Maharashtra is the venue of 66th Kabaddi nationals where16 teams are fighting for the title.
A huge response is received by the tournament on its first two days. 17,000 people sit in the stadium which has the capacity of 15,000. Fans even stand at the empty space between the mat and the stand.
Whereas outside the stadium the arrangement of two big screens has been done for fans to watch the live action. 4,000-5,000 fans have watched matches there.
Fans are gathering in huge numbers to see their favorite players representing their state. It can be concluded that tournament will receive the same response on today and tomorrow.
