Match between Dabang Delhi and Gujarat Giants End Up In A Tie

Day five of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season eight was another excited day. In the much-anticipated and nail-biting match, Dabang Delhi K.C. and Gujarat Giants played out a scintillating tie 24-24.

In the second last raid by Rakesh, Delhi skipper Joginder Singh Narwal stepped out of lobby and Gujarat was leading 24-23. It was Naveen Kumar picked up point and tied the match.

Naveen Kumar started in fine raiding form for Delhi as did Rakesh Narwal for Gujarat as it was 6-6 after 11 minutes. Halftime score was 12 Delhi and 11 Gujarat.

After a closely-contested first half both teams picked up points in second half too. At one point Delhi was leading 19-16. But Gujarat reduced then took the lead. In the end Naveen tied the game.

This neck to neck competition ended up as a tie. Gujarat skipper Sunil Kumar and Rakesh Narwal were amazing. Naveen Kumar for Delhi performed well with super 10.
