Nitesh Kumar To Lead UP Yoddhas For The Fourth Consecutive Time

India’s second most popular league Vivo Pro Kabaddi League will be started from 7th October 2022. For this season 9 auction was held on 5th & 6th August 2022. After the auction teams have been rebuilt. For the upcoming season they have started training camps.

Pawan Kumar Sehrawat (Tamil Thalaivas for Rs. 2.26 Crore), Vikash Kandola (Bengaluru Bulls for Rs. 1.70 Crore), Fazel Atrachali (Puneri Paltan for Rs. 1.38 Crore) & Guman Singh (U Mumba for Rs. 1.22 Crore) were the expensive players at the auction.

UP Yoddhas have made an announcement of their captain. Defender Nitesh Kumar to will lead them in the upcoming PKL 9. He is their captain since season 6. UP will play their first match against inaugural champions Jaipur Pink Panthers on 7th October.
