BPCL Men’s Team & Shiv Shakti Women’s Team Won State Level Kabaddi Tournament

Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India will organize Senior National Kabaddi Championships in the upcoming months. For that, State Kabaddi Associations have started selection process on state level.

Panchgani Vyayam Mandal had organized the state level Kabaddi tournament from 12th to 15th January 2023. The tournament was commenced at Panchgani, Mahabaleshwar.

This state level Kabaddi tournament is recognised by Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association & Satara District Kabaddi Association. This tournament is a chance for players to perform well.

Yesterday (15th January) in the men’s category, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) thrashed Bank of Baroda 29-27 & won the title here. Girish Ernak, Nilesh Shinde played a major role in BPCL’s title win.

In women’s section, Shiv Shakti Mahila Sangh, Mumbai City team thrashed Rajmata Jijau Team in the last minute thriller. The winning score was 31-30. Shiv Shakti team won title here.
