The Indian Kabaddi Team Crowned As Champion Of 2nd Women’s Kabaddi World Cup, Bangladesh 2025
The Kabaddi World Cup is an indoor international tournament conducted by International Kabaddi Federation. Participant country’s national teams competes with each other to win the title.
The 2nd Women’s Kabaddi World Cup was held at Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur, Bangladesh. It was scheduled from 17th to 24th November. Total 11 teams participated here.
The Indian women’s team emerged as a winner after defeating Chinese Taipei team 35-28. Before that Indian team cruised past Iran 33-21 & Chinese Taipei team crushed host Bangladesh 25-18 to enter finals.
I Min Lin from Chinese Taipei won ‘Best Raider of the tournament award’. M. Sriti Akter from Bangladesh won ‘Best Defender of the tournament award’. India’s Sanju Devi won ‘Most Valuable Player of the tournament award’.
