Actress Kangana Ranaut to learn Kabaddi for her upcoming Kabaddi based movie ‘Panga’

Kabaddi is no more rural game. It has got glamour, fame, and popularity after the introduction of the Pro Kabaddi League in 2014. Now PKL is the second most watched league after the Indian Premier League. Bollywood has also started giving attention to Kabaddi. Actor Abhishek Bachchan owned a PKL franchise Jaipur Pink Panthers in 2014 inaugural season of PKL.

A movie called ‘Panga’ will follow the life of a national-level Kabaddi player. The film will be directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari. It will star actress Kangana Ranaut as a Kabaddi player. Punjabi singer-actor Jassie Gill will be in the role of Kangana’s husband and Neena Gupta will play a special role.

To do a sports drama it takes a lot of preparation and hard work. According to the sources, for the movie Panga, Kangana Ranaut will undergo training for two months in mid-December. It is a part of the movie preparation. Kangana will join the cast from February. The first schedule of the film has been started in Bhopal where director Ashwini Iyer Tiwari is shooting for the film.

We have seen so many sports dramas like ‘Chak De India’, ‘Bhag Milkha Bha’, ‘Gold’ have been appreciated by the audience. These teams have done well at the box office too. ‘Panga’ film is Presented by Fox Star Hindi and produced by Fox Star Studios is expected to release next year in 2019.
