Aslam magic help Puneri to register its third win in PKL 8
Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season eight is undergoing in Bengaluru. In the first match of tonight Puneri Paltan thrashed the defending champions Bengal Warriors 39-27.
Bengal Warriors started the game on good note. Skipper Maninder Singh raids were beneficial for them. However Puneri defense found a solution and dismissed him.
Puneri Paltan inflicted an all-out on Bengal Warriors and took the lead. Puneri raider Aslam Inamdar and their defense helped them to dominate the first half as 20-11.
The second half story was no different. On one side Maninder Singh was putting his efforts. But he did not get support in raiding. The defense was also not stable.
There was another all-out on Bengal Warriors by Puneri. Nitin Tomar led Paltan were better on both the fronts. This led them to win against the defending champions.
Puneri raider Aslam Inamdar picked up a super 10 with 16 raid points. Abinesh Nadarajan had a high 5 to his name. Skipper Nitin Tomar & Mohit Goyat took 3 raid points each.
From Bengal, Maninder Singh scored 13 raid points. It was his 6th super 10 in PKL season 8. Substitute raiders Akash Pikalmunde got 8 raid points.
All-rounder Esmaeil Nabibakhsh picked up 2 raid & 2 tackle points. Bengal defender Abozar Mohajermighani took 2 tackle points.
