Bagpat team clinched the title of Women’s Senior Kabaddi Championship
Since the things are getting back to normalcy after Covid pandemic Kabaddi tournaments are taking place. A Women’s Senior Kabaddi Championships was held on Sunday 20th March.
On the grounds of Shri Gandhi Smarak Inter College, Meerut-Karnal Highway, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a team from Bagpat district clinched the winner title by defeating a team from Chhur.
In the intense final match, Bagpat team defeated Chhur team by 8 points. Earlier in the semi-finals, Chhur team crushed Meerut team by 7 points to enter the finals.
Bagpat team managed to defeat Muzaffarpur by 4 points & reached the final. The tournament was inaugurated by UP Ghanghas Gautra Khap president Chaudhari Sukhpal Singh.
MLA Gulam Muhammad felicitated the winner team of Bagpat with cash prize & trophy. District Kabaddi Association President Jagendra Chaudhari, Yogesh Tomar were present.
Satyendra Singh Bagpat, Anil Chaudhari, Kopinder Singh were also present on the occasion. Pro Kabaddi League franchise U Mumba vice-captain Abhishek Singh was also present.
Abhishek is a resident of Maina Maujpur of Bulandshahar district. He gave a message to youth that, if they want their future in Sports they will have to live a disciplined life.
