Bengal back on winning ways as they beat jaipur
After three consecutive defeats defending champions Bengal Warriors managed to win the match against Jaipur Pink Panthers 31-28. This is the third win of Warriors.
On the sixth day of week 2 in Pro Kabaddi League season 8, Bengal Warriors started the game on good note. Skipper Maninder Singh raids were beneficial for them.
Within 10 minutes Bengal Warriors inflicted an all-out on Jaipur Pink Panthers and took the lead. Arjun Dehswal was on raiding duty for Jaipur Pink Panthers.
The half time score was 18-14 in favour of Bengal. The second half story was no different. Bengal Warriors were better on both the fronts. This led them to win.
Bengal skipper Maninder Singh scored super 10 with 12 raid points. He crossed ‘800 Raid Points’ mark in his PKL career. Esmaeil Nabibakhsh picked up 7 raid & 3 tackle points.
Bengal defender Abozar Mohajermighani took 2 tackle points. Because of his rough tackle, he got yellow card which lead to two minutes suspension from game.
Jaipur raider Arjun Deshwal picked up his 5th super 10 in PKL 8. He took 16 raid points. Skipper Deepak Niwas Hooda notched up 5 raid points. Naveen got 3 tackle points.
