Bengal Warriors seal their spot in the playoffs of PKL 6

The sixth campaign of Pro Kabaddi League is in its last quarter. Finals are just 14 days away. Kolkata is the current host of PKL. Till now 126 matches have been held. As the league is near to get new winner playoffs race has become more and more interesting. 3 teams each from both Zones will qualify for the playoffs.

On Saturday (22nd December) Bengal Warriors thrashed Patna Pirates 39-23. With this win, Warriors got qualified for the playoffs of PKL 6. It is the second team from Zone B after Bengaluru Bulls to book their spot in the playoffs. Bengal Warriors has played 19 matches. They won 10, lost 7 and tied two matches.

Bengal Warriors have entered into the playoffs for the third time. In season 3 and season 5 they were successful in making it to the playoffs. But could not win it and returned with empty hands.

In the season 6, Maninder Singh is the top raider for Bengal Warriors. He has clinched 168 raid points from 18 matches. Skipper Surjeet Singh is their top defender with having 45 tackle points from 19 matches.

Bengal Warriors still have three matches left to play. Tomorrow they will take on Telugu Titans. On 26th December they will be up against Bengaluru Bulls. Next day Bengal Warriors will lock the horns with UP Yoddha.
