Bengal Warriors settle for a tie with Telugu Titans

Day six of week seven in Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season eight was another excited day. Bengal Warriors had to satisfy with the tie as 32-32 after leading the game against Telugu Titans.

Both the teams played one to one battle in the first twenty minutes. Bengal Warriors slightly did it better as they led the first half. The halftime score was 14 Bengal and 12 Telugu.

As soon as the game started in second half Telugu Titans inflicted the all-out on Bengal Warriors. Telugu raiders Ankit Beniwal & Rajnish were on fire. But Telugu failed to expand the lead.

Bengal skipper Maninder Singh’s raids were phenomenal. Soon his team repaid the all-out to Telugu Titans & they had a lead of 31-28. In the next raid Esmaeil picked up a bonus.

Still the score was 32-28 in favour of Bengal. But Telugu raiders & defenders turned the tables & levelled the score 32-32. In the last raid Telugu’s Ankit ran the clock & the game was draw.

Bengal’s Maninder scored a super 10 with 11 raid points. Manoj Gowda earned 2 tackle & 4 raid points. Abozar Mohajermighani took 2 tackle points.

Telugu’s Ankit Beniwal got tackle & 8 raid points.  Rajnish picked up 7 raid points. Akash Choudhary & Sandeep Kandola notched up 3 tackle points each.
