Complete Analysis:

Raiders

Captain Maninder Singh will be team’s primary raider. His captainship & raiding both were beneficial for the team. Maninder picked up 262 raid points in season 8. Shrikant Jadhav will be the second raider. Akash Pikalmunde can also be seen raiding in case of no results or injury to both of them. Also Suyog Gaikar, R Guhan, Parshant Kumar, Aslam Thambi may be the substitutes.

Defenders

Left corner Girish Ernak had put an amazing defensive show (46 tackle points in 19 matches) for Gujarat Giants in PKL 8. Right corner Shubham Shinde will be seen playing for the team. Amit Sheoran, Surender Nada are also there. Bengal has a lot of options in the defense. Other players like Parveen Sethpal, Soleiman Pahlevani, Sakthivel R, Vaibhav Garje can be substitutes in defense.

All-Rounders

Deepak Niwas Hooda might concentrate on his raiding  more. Ashish Sangwan & Balaji D who prominently plays in defense can be given the chance for the same. Vinod Kumar, Ajinkya Kapre, Rohit, Manoj Gowda also may be given an opportunity if things do not go well.

Maninder Singh is expected to have much needed support in raiding since Bengal has bought experienced supportive raiders. The team’s defensive side looks great on the paper there is a lack of experienced left cover. If the team works on this point there will not be any difficulty in regaining the title.
