For playing in Maharashtra team Siddharth resigned from the Railways. But his resignation is not accepted by them. So he will not play from Maharashtra as Railways has not given NOC (No Objection Certificate) to him. As well as the all technical formalities are also not completed.

Meanwhile, the only hope for Desai fans is that if Railways picks him in their team. But as Siddharth attended Maharashtra team’ camp he was absent for the Railways team camp which is being held in Mumbai. And due to this, he may not be in the Railways squad for the nationals.
