Bonus King Nitin Madane and his Kabaddi Journey

Nitin Madane is a well known name in the Kabaddi circuit. Be it the fans or players they definitely have some or the other anecdotes to tell about this ‘Bonus King’.

Born on 10th September 1989, Nitin Madane hails from Islampur, Maharashtra. Nitin is an Asian Games 2014 Gold Medalist. Nitin gave his best performance in the inaugural season of PKL in 2014 while playing for Bengal Warriors.

Nitin started playing Kabaddi at the age of 12. He is a left raider and is fondly known as Bonus King. He scored 101 raid points and 6 tackle points in season 1. He was awarded the best raider of the match three times in season 1.

In season 2 he was suffering from an injury and hence did not play any match. He came back in the team in season 4 and managed to score 51 raid points from 13 matches. Whereas in season 5, he could not perform to his ability as scored just 16 points from 12 matches.

Nitin represents Maharashtra at national levels. He was a part of the 65th Senior National Championships winning Maharashtra team. He also plays Kabaddi from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) in Industrial Championships.

Nitin Madane is currently serving with the Government of Maharashtra. Government of Maharashtra awarded Nitin with ‘Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Award’ in February 2018.
