Chandigarh, SAI teams emerged as a champions

Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) recognized and Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India West Bengal State Unit was organized 45th Junior National Kabaddi Championship.

It was commenced at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium Kolkata, West Bengal. More than 40 teams of boys and girls team from the country participated in the Championship.

Yesterday (18th February) in the final match of boy’s section, Chandigarh crushed Uttar Pradesh 41-32. In the semifinals, Chandigarh outperformed Maharashtra 48-34 and Uttar Pradesh beat Tamilnadu 27-19.

Talking about girl’s section SAI defeated Haryana 33-29 in the final match. SAI thrashed Uttar Pradesh 39-21 and Haryana won over Chhattisgarh 33-19 to make it to the finals.

Boy’s Section

Winner – Chandigarh

First Runner Up – Uttar Pradesh

Second Runner Up – Maharashtra and Tamilnadu

Girl’s Section

Winner – SAI

First Runner Up – Haryana

Second Runner Up – Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh
