Coaches for Probable Indian Kabaddi Teams are selected
Kabaddi season has been started in India with full swing. Kabaddi was one of the Sports whose schedule was badly affected due to Covid pandemic. Now District, National level championships are taking place.
Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI), the Kabaddi governing body in India is all set to organise Junior, Sub Junior, Senior Men’s, Women’s National Championships in sometime.
Women’s Senior National Games was held in March. Men’s Senior National Games will be conducted in some days. Many of the other competitions are also ongoing.
These competitions hold a very special importance in order to get selected for playing in National teams. That is why players try their level best to perform well in Nationals.
For these championships and selection process AKFI had invited applications for the addition of names in the panel of coaches of AKFI for the Selection Committee.
53 Men & 23 Women had applied for coach panel. Out of them 6 coaches (3 for Men & 3 for Women) are finalised. They will observe the performances closely.
Men:
1. Mr. Ashan Kumar – Dronacharya Award Winner & Arjun Award Winner
2. Mr. K.K Hooda – Dronacharya Award Winner
3. Capt E. Bhaskaran – Ex. Coach Indian Kabaddi teams & SSCB teams
Women:
1. Padma Shri Ms. Sunil Dabas – Coach Dronacharya Award Winner
2. Ms. Neeta Dadwe – Arjun Award Winner, Coach S.C Railway
3. Ms. Padmaja Bala – Ex-Coach Sports Authority AP
