Defending champions made a winning start in PKL 8

Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season eight has started in Bengaluru. Defending champions Bengal Warriors beat UP in the last match of day one keeping the score as 38-33.

Bengal’s defense targeted PKL superstar Pardeep Narwal. UP Yoddha team was out in few minutes of the first half. After that, UP Yoddha make their way in the match. Halftime score was 18-18.

In the second half Esmaeil Nabibaksh’s 4 pointer super raid in the second half turned the whole match in favour of Bengal. Still UP team put their efforts.

UP team tried hard until Sukesh Hegde performed a super raid before 5 last minutes to play. This put UP Yoddha on backfoot. After that the victory was seen clear for Bengal Warriors.

Esmaeil Nabibaksh was a star of the day for Bengal Warriors. His all-round perforamance made easier for Bengal to beat UP Yoddha with 5 points margin.
