Exclusive Interview Feat Dabang Delhi KC Player – Gaurav Chhillar

Dabang Delhi KC has a young raider named Gaurav Chhillar in their team for PKL 12. He has done well whenever given a chance. Team Khel Kabaddi had an exclusive conversation with Gaurav. He gave his insights on his career, Delhi team, upcoming matches & many more.

Q: Basically where you belong from? At what age did you start playing the sport of Kabaddi?

A: I live in the Haryana state. I started playing Kabaddi in my childhood.

Q: When did you decide to take Kabaddi as a profession?

A: I used to play at tehsil & district level. I liked the game. I gave trial conducted by Delhi team & got selected.

Q: How were you got selected for Pro Kabaddi League?

A: I was picked up through New Young Player (NYP) of Pro Kabaddi League.

Q: What was the reaction of you family & friends when they got to know about your selection in Pro Kabaddi League?

A: When I told everyone about it my family is very happy about it.

Q: Can you tell how the atmosphere in Delhi team is?

A: We all live together for almost three months. So it has been like a family to me.

Q: Team has Fazel Atrachali, an experienced player, Ashu Malik as a captain & Joginder Narwal as a coach. How’s your experience with them?

A: The experience is really amazing. All the senior players gives us advices regarding game. They treats us well.

Q: What is the diet & practice routine?

A: It depends upon the physio & nutritionist. We practice from morning to evening.

Q: Do you think you will get a chance in starting seven?

A: Yes. I’m sure each one of us is will get chance to play.

Q: Which is your favourite skill?

A: Thigh hold.

Q: Who is your favourite Raider?

A: Naveen Kumar & Ashu Malik

Q: Who is your favourite defender?

A: Sunil Kumar & Surjeet Singh.
