Former Indian Captain Rakesh Kumar inspires youngsters
Triple Asian Games Gold Medalist and former captain of Indian Kabaddi Team Rakesh Kumar reached Guru Dronacharya Kabaddi Academy located at Sector 05, Gurugram. The Arjuna Awardee Rakesh Kumar gave tips to the young players gathered there.
Firstly Rakesh Kumar took the blessings of Lord Hanuman at the ground. When he saw the matches of the players he was very happy with that. He said that work hard and the success will be yours. The way sports are an important part of one’s life, physical education also has a specific place. Now Kabaddi has reached on new heights.
It is a good and huge effort to make facilities available in the Gurugram that too free of cost. If the players will be honest with their games success will come to them. With the commercialization of the sports many new academies are opened. But the government have to look at that these academies are coming only with the motive of making money.
Rakesh shared tips about having a balanced diet and useful information about the game. He said Kabaddi and Wrestling as Indian sports. He also promised to come there again and again. Players clicked the pictures and selfies with him.
On the occasion, Kabaddi coach Rajnish Bhardwaj thanked him for coming to the academy. Wrestling coach Khajan Singh, Jagbir Singh welcome him with giving him flowers. Rakesh Kumar also thanked all the fans. Pramod Mor, Umesh Kaushik, Balkishan Kaushik, Jaswinder Katariya, Devendra Prajapat, Manoj Katariya were present.
