Formerly a state-level kabaddi player now has become an IAS officer

Neha Bandhu from Nainana Jat village in Agra district has passed the Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC. Twenty-four-year-old Neha has secured 121st in India in this exam.
Neha, from Dalit community, holds a degree in Engineering from IIT Banaras. She is currently in the service with Indian Railways. Earlier in 2017, she had secured 954th rank in this exam. She then took a year off to prepare for the exam. What is special is that Neha is a state-level kabaddi player.
“Even though I am from a Dalit community, I was able to reach here because I got the opportunity of an education. Many girls in my community do not get this opportunity. I want to provide education opportunity to such girls,” Neha told the Times of India.
