Here is how the Pune Leg of Pro Kabaddi League will unfold
Kabaddi now has reached all over the world. With the advent of Pro Kabaddi league and its popularity, the game became an instant success across the globe. The first season took off in July 2014 and now it has the second most popular league after Indian Premier League.
The fifth season of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League was the most watched non-cricketing property, garnering almost 1.6 billion impressions for the live telecast. After Asian Games 2018, all Kabaddi fans are waiting for PKL Season 6.
PKL Season 6 will commence from 5th October 2018 and the final will be played on 5th January 2019. The Pune Leg will start from 18th October to 24th October, it will have a total of 11 matches. The three days of the leg would be the zonal matches and thereafter Inter-zone matches would take place.
Home team Puneri Paltan will play against Gujarat Fortune Giants on 18th October. On next day they will have to face the challenge of Jaipur Pink Panthers.
20th October will be the much awaited ‘Maharashtra Derby’ as Puneri Paltan take on U Mumba.
The inter-zone week will begin on 21st October 2018. Puneri Paltan from Zone A will be up against the Bengaluru Bulls of Zone B.
22nd October will be a rest day. On 23rd October Puneri Paltan will play Tamil Thalaivas. Puneri Paltan will play their last home match against UP Yoddhas on 24th October 2018. The Pune Leg wraps on 24th October 2018.
All Pune Leg matches will be played at the Badminton Hall of Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune.
