Himachal Pradesh emerged as a champion of 68th Senior National Kabaddi Championship Women
The Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) recognized and Haryana State Kabaddi Association organized 68th Senior National Kabaddi Championship Women was started from 10th March.
Himachal Pradesh team became the champions after beating Indian Railways team 33-31. The tournament of 68th Women’s Kabaddi Nationals was being held at open stadium of Charkhi, Dadri, Haryana.
Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Dushyant Chautala was present in the final match. Some artists from Haryana performed & showed a glimpse of culture of Haryana state.
Both the teams are known as strong teams. Before the match it was anticipated that Indian Railways has an upper hand over Himachal Pradesh due to their dominance at Senior Nationals.
Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Dushyant Chautala was present in the final match. The match was a neck to neck battle between the teams. But Himachal Pradesh got it better & defeated Railways team.
Before that, Indian Railways team crushed Rajasthan 41-17 to enter the final match. And Himachal Pradesh cruised past hosts Haryana 35-32 & made it to the finals.
