If not Kabaddi, Rohit would have made a career in this field

Rohit Kumar, who made his debut for the Patna Pirates in the third season of the Pro Kabaddi League, made a name for himself in a short span of time. The Bengaluru Bulls then added Rohit to their squad. Under Rohit’s leadership, the Bengaluru Bulls won their sixth season of Pro Kabaddi. He was also part of the Indian team that won a gold medal in the 2016 South Asian Games.

Having achieved so much success in Kabaddi, Rohit had once thought of leaving Kabaddi and pursuing a career in another field. Rohit himself informed about this in the program ‘Beyond the Mat’ organized by the Pro Kabaddi League. Speaking on the occasion, Rohit said,

“I probably would have tried to be an actor if I hadn’t gotten into kabaddi.”

Rohit said that he has been obsessed with the film industry since childhood. Everyone knows his love for actor Akshay Kumar. When he came to Pro Kabaddi, he had from time to time made public statements about his love for Akshay Kumar. He and Akshay Kumar finally met when Rohit started playing in Pro Kabaddi. Rohit has also got Akshay Kumar’s face tattooed on his arm.
