Indian Team Beat Iran To Clinch The Title Of Asian Kabaddi Championship 2023
The Asian Kabaddi Championship is the competition where countries from all over the Asia region compete with each other. It is conducted under the guidance of International Kabaddi Federation (IKF).
Today (30th June), Indian men’s team won the title here by thrashing it’s rival Iran. Indian team led the first half 23-11 courtesy of skipper Pawan Kumar’s raids.
In the second half Iran marked a comeback as their captain Mohammadreza Shadlu Chiyaneh performed very well. But it was too late as Indian team won the title by 10 points margin.
The 11th Asian Kabaddi Championship was inaugurated at Busan, Korea. It was scheduled from 27th to 30th June 2023.
