Jaipur Pink Panthers Team Analysis For Pro Kabaddi Season 6

Jaipur Pink Panthers were the inaugural champions of Pro Kabaddi Season 1 in 2014. The franchise is owned by famous Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan. Balwan Singh, one of the best Kabaddi coaches of India is coaching the team since season 1.

Apart from winning the first season of PKL, Jaipur was the runner-up of season 4. The team management did not retain any player for season 6 which shows that they wanted new players in their team. Deepak Hooda, third most expensive player is in the Jaipur team. The 17 players squad is all set to fight for the title of PKL.

Raiders 

There are a total of 8 raiders in the team. Anup Kumar, the captain cool will be wearing the Pink jersey for the first time. He was the captain of U Mumba since season 1. The ‘Bonus Ka Badshah’ has scored 489 raid points and 57 tackle points in 70 matches.

K Selvamani also has been bagged by Jaipur who has scored 102 points in 34 matches. Along with this Kenyan sensation David Shilisia J Mosambayi, Gangadhari Mallesh, Anand Patil, Sunil Siddhgavali, Ajit Singh and Lokesh Kaushik will be raiding for Pink Panthers.

Having experienced and skilled player like Anup Kumar on raiding side adds advantage to Jaipur Pink Panthers. His guidance to other young raiders will enable them to give their best.

Defenders

5 defenders will be seen defending from Jaipur Pink Panthers in PKL Season 6. Having 216 points in 77 matches to his name, Mohit Chhillar will be the main pillar of Jaipur’s defense. His partner Surender Nada will not be accompanying him as the left corner. Nada will be seen playing from Haryana Steelers.

Young and extremely talented Sandeep Kumar Dhull who was seen playing for Dabang Delhi K.C. in season 3 and Telugu Titans in season 4 will be doing the defense for the Panthers.

Bajirao Hodage is also part of Jaipur’s defense. Season 5 was not the best for him, but if he performs to his best ability then he can be a great defense strength. South Korean Young Chang Ko and young Santhapanaselvam will defend Jaipur in the approaching season of PKL.

Defending side has both the experience and talent. So it looks balanced one.

All-Rounders 

Four all-rounders are part of the team. 3rd costliest buy of the season, Deepak Hooda has scored a total of 577 points in 81 matches. 514 raid points and 63 tackle points are there to his name. He is one of the best all-rounders of PKL.

Young Nitin Rawal who was will also be part of Jaipur as the all-rounder. He was very good with his performance in last season.

New youngsters like Brijendra Singh Chaudhary and N. Shiva Ramakrishna will also show their all-rounding skills while playing from Pink Panther.

All-in-all Jaipur Pink Panthers looks quite a good side with its raiding, defense, and all-rounders. Though Jaipur has big names in the list let’s not forget they have not given good performances in last season. Big players being out of form can be a worry for the team.
