Joginder’s one advise did wonders for Naveen

Naveen Kumar, a young player from Dabang Delhi, surprised everyone with his strong performance in his second season of Pro Kabaddi. However, the role of Dabang Delhi captain Joginder Narwal was very important in Naveen’s strong performance. Naveen himself recently confessed about it. He was speaking at a live session on ‘Beyond the Mat’ hosted by the Pro Kabaddi League’s Instagram handle.

Speaking on the occasion, Naveen said, “Joginder Bhai always supported me. He told me to play without thinking about how many points you got or why you got tackled constantly. He had a simple rule. Forget what happened and focus on the next raid. That helped me play my natural aggressive game without much thinking. ”

“His mere presence on the mat was enough to calm me down. He constantly boosted my confidence and supported me. He is an inspiring personality to me. He treated me like a little brother, despite the age gap between us.”

Thanks to Joginder’s unwavering support, Naveen scored 21 Super Tens in a row and became only the third player to score 300 Raid points in a single season.
