Komal Deokar to lead Maharashtra team at 68th Senior National Kabaddi Championship
Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) is organising 68th Senior National Kabaddi Championship Women. Earlier Maharashtra was about to host this prestigious tournament.
But now tournament is shifted from Maharashtra to Haryana. Now it will commence from 10th to 13th March 2022 at Charkhi, Dadri, Haryana. All matches will be played on Kabaddi mat.
All the teams are practising hard for the tournament. This championship holds a significant importance in order to get place in Indian Women’s Kabaddi Team.
Some of the participating teams have announced their teams. Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association has announced Maharashtra’s team which will fight at Senior National Kabaddi Championship.
This team is finalised on the basis of performances at 68th Senior Women’s state Kabaddi Championship. Pune team had won the title there.
Komal Deokar from Mumbai Suburb will lead the Maharashtra team. 5 players from Pune team Snehal Shinde, Sayali Keripale, Pooja Shelar, Ankita Jagtap & Manasi Rode are in the team.
