Maharashtra Finance minister Ajit Pawar announced One Crore fund to Kabaddi

A Kabaddi tournament named as ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Trophy‘ is held in Maharashtra every year. It was one of the significant Kabaddi tournaments in Maharashtra whioch happens at district level. Earlier the tournament was named as Shivshahi Trophy.

Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association president & Maharashtra state Finance minister Ajit Pawar has increased the fund for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Trophy from 50 lakh to 1 crores.

When Ajit PAwar became finance minister he increased the fund from 25 lakhs to 50 lakhs. Now the fund for organising the tournament has gone up to 1 crores.

Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association member Baburao Chandere met Ajit Pawar at Nationalist Congress Party Bhawan Mumbai & thanked him for increasing the fund.

Chandere also said that Ajit Pawar has assured him of clearing of playere’s files related to their appointment through sports quota.  It includes the players such as Sayali Keripale, Girish Ernak, Rishank Devadiga, Abhilasha Mhatre, Sonali Shingte.
