Maharashtra Olympic Games To Be Held From Tomorrow

The Maharashtra State Government in association with Maharashtra Olympic Association (MOA) is organizing Maharashtra Olympic Games 2022-23.

The competition is being held after 22 years. Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi is the venue for this tournament. It is inaugurated on 2nd January.

Over 8000 athletes will take part here. 39 games including Kabaddi will be part of this games. Out of which Pune will host 24 games.

Remaining 15 games will be hosted by cities such as Nashik, Nagpur, Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Amravati, Mumbai, Sangli & Baramati tehsil.

Kabaddi is also a part of this tournament. The teams are qualified on the basis of their performance in 69th Maharashtra State Kabaddi Championship.

A Group: Ahmednagar, Mumbai Suburban, Nashik, Amravati

B Group: Mumbai City, Dhule, Thane, Washim

Women Category:

A Group: Pune, Palghar, Kolhapur, Nagpur

B Group: Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburban, Raigad, Amravati
