Maharashtra to host State Kabaddi championships
Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India will organize Senior National Kabaddi Championships next year. For that, State Kabaddi Associations have started selection process on state level.
State men’s and women’s team of Maharashtra are to be decided once the state championships are over. Best performers from the tournament will be part of state team.
Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association and Hindavi Yuva Pratishthan, Kalher is conducting 69th State Kabaddi Championships. The competition will be held from 22nd to 25nd December at Bandrya Maruti Ground, Kalher, Bhiwandi Taluka, Thane district.
For this tournament, the teams have to register themselves by paying Rs 200 as entry fee at Pune Kabaddi Association office. The last date of registration is 17th December.
Eligibility weight for men’s is 85 kg and for women’s’ is 75 kg. All the matches will be played on soil ground. This tournament will decide the teams of Maharashtra at Senior National.
