Maharashtra’s Girls and Boys Kabaddi Team announced for Khelo India Games 2019

The Indian Central Government in associate with Maharashtra State Government to organize 2nd Khelo India games at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune. This tournament will be held from 8th January 2019 to 20th January 2019.

The Khelo India programme was introduced by the Indian Government in January 2018. It was to revive the sports culture in India at the grass-root level by building a strong framework for all sports played in our country and establish India as a great sporting nation.

12,500 players of the age group under-17 and under-21 will take part in 2nd Khelo India Games 2019. They will compete with each other in 18 different sports events. The game of Kabaddi is also there in this tournament. Kabaddi’s matches will be held from 14th to 18th January 2019 at Badminton Hall, Balewadi, Pune.

The teams which will represent Maharashtra state has been announced by the Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association.
