Maharashtra’s Men and Women enter the knock out round at All India Police Kabaddi Championship
Jaipur: The AKFI approved 67th All India Police Kabaddi Championship that is underway at Jaipur, Rajasthan is in its knock out stages now. Odisha, Goa, CRPF, Punjab, Karnataka made it to the knock outs from the men’s division.
Maharashtra’s men and women also made it to the knock out rounds after some splendid display of Kabaddi skills on the mat. In the women’s division, Maharashtra and Rajasthan made it to the knock outs of the tournament.
Maharashtra’s men team defeated RPF with a convincing margin of 42-23 which also helped them win all their group matches. These wins sealed their spot in the knock out rounds. Odisha Police also defeated RPF 53-39 and confirmed their spot into the knock out round.
Goa Police defeated Gujarat Police 33-20 and registered their second victory in their group. Later, Punjab Police also defeated Gujarat 53-13 and sealed their place in the knock outs. CISF defeated Karnataka 41-15 and later Karnataka defeated 49-22 which helped them enter the knock out round.
All the league games are yet to wind up, which would be played in today evening. Detailed schedule of the knock out games and qualified team will be revealed soon.
