Mangalore University Boy’s & Chandigarh University Girl’s Clinched Gold Medal At Khelo India University Games 2023

The Khelo India University Games programme was introduced by the Indian Government 2020. Khelo India University Games was launched after the success of Khelo India Youth Games.

It was to revive the sports culture in India at the grass-root level by building a strong framework for all sports played in our country & establish India as a great sporting nation.

The Indian Central Government in associate with Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Sikkim & Nagaland State Government will organize the fourth edition of Khelo India University Games.

It was inaugurated on 19th February. Kabaddi was also a part of Khelo India Games. Kabaddi was scheduled from 17th to 21st February 2024.

Yesterday on 21st February, Mangalore University, Karnataka defeated Kota University, Rajasthan 36-22 in the boy’s category & won the gold medal.

In girl’s section, Chandigarh University, Punjab crushed Bharti Vidyapeeth University Pune, Maharashtra 35-32 to won the gold.
