Manjeet or Shrikant, who will leave their mark this PKL season?

Manjeet Dahiya, over 6 feet tall in height uses his reach in order to earn points quickly and his huge stride provides him an opportunity for rapid touch points. Shrikant Jadhav, a consistent raider throughout his PKL journey has updated his skillset frequently. His raiding abilities benefited a lot to his franchises thus he was again brought by UP Yoddha in the Auction using FBM card.

Analysis of Manjeet Dahiya’s Performance

The above chart gives us an insight that Manjeet has played 22 matches for his team i.e. Puneri Paltan. He played just 2 seasons of PKL and added lot of feathers to his cap. In PKL 6, he played for Patna Pirates as their support raider but due to Deepak Narwal’s poor performance he got an opportunity to show his potential and he delivered up to the expectations. He scored 100+ points in his debut season and continued this form into PKL 7 as well. In last season, he scored 151 total points with 102 successful raids, 123 raid points, 2 super raids, 3 super 10s, 17 do or die raid points, 46% raid strike rate and with an average raid points of 5.59.

Shrikant has played 22 matches for his team UP Yoddha of the league. He has been playing PKL for quite sometime now but couldn’t get enough chances to contribute to prove his capabilities for the team. However, in PKL 3 & 4 he got 5 matches for each season to play it was quite below average performance for him.

Finally, in PKL 5 he got his breakout season while playing for U Mumba with 98 total points in just 19 matches. Since, then he was consistently successful in impressing the Kabaddi fans and his team with his quality skillsets. In the last season, he scored 152 total points with 112 successful raids, 148 raid points, 2 super raids, 3 super 10s, 28 do or die raid points, 50% raid strike rate and with an average raid points of 6.73.
