‘Naveen storm’ hit Warriors as Delhi dominated Bengal

Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season eight has moved to second week. On the first day of week 2, Dabang Delhi K. C. crushed Bengal Warriors 52-35. Delhi also took revenge of PKL 7 final where Bengal became winner.

Dabang Delhi K.C. raider Naveen Kumar and Bengal Warriors skipper Maninder Singh started the game. Naveen was not easy to catch. Within few minutes Bengal was all-out. Delhi took the lead 10-4.

Naveen Kumar scored his 4th super 10 in PKL 8. Delhi team inflicted another all-out on Bengal. Half time score was 33-15 favouring Delhi. 33 is the highest half time score by a team so far in PKL 8.  

The same story was repeated in the second half. Joining Naveen, another Delhi raider Vijay also picked up his super 10. Jeeva Kumar and Manjeet Chhillar tackled the Bengal raiders.

Delhi team got Bengal all-out for third time in the match. Maninder Singh and Sukesh Hegde tried to minimize the lead. But they were unsuccessful. Then Delhi crushed Bengal by 17 points.

‘Naveen Express’ picked up massive 24 raid points. It was the 25th consecutive super 10 of his PKL career. Vijay supported him well with scoring super 10. He notched up 10 raid points.

Defenders Jeeva Kumar scored 3 tackle points. Manjeet Chhillar got 2 tackle points. Warriors’ Maninder scored 16 raid points. Sukesh got 9 raid points. Defender Abozar Mohajermighani took 4 points.
