Patna Pirates dominate UP Yodha to reach PKL finals for record fourth time
Tonight in the first semi-final of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season 8, three times champion Patna Pirates crushed UP Yoddha 38-27. Patna Pirates has reached in finals of PKL 8.
They will play final match against winner of Bengaluru Bulls Vs Dabang Delhi K.C. match on 25th February at 7.30 pm. Patna has won title in season 3, season 4 & season 5.
Patna Pirates had a fantastic start with Sachin & Guman Singh raided well. The defense also was on point. As a result they inflicted an all-out on UP Yoddha.
Soon Pirates inflicted their second all-out on UP Yoddha. UP players had no clue regarding what is going on. As a result, the halftime score was Patna 23 & UP 9.
The second half began with Pirates getting UP all-out for the third time in match. After this Patna slow down the game. UP somewhere picked up the pace.
UP Yoddha inflicted an all-out on Patna Pirates. Shrikant Jadhav & Ashu Sing They tried their level best. But the scoreboard kept moving in favour of Pirates.
Patna Pirates won the match comfortably & went into finals of PKL 8. Their raider Guman Singh picked up 8 raid points. Sachin clinched 1 tackle & 6 raid points.
Mohammadreza Chiyaneh scored his 10th high 5 in this PKL. He earned 6 tackle points. Sunil had a high 5 with 5 tackle points. Neeraj Kumar got 2 tackle points.
UP Yoddha raider Shrikant Jadhav scored 2 tackle & 8 raid points. Pardeep Narwal got 4 raid points. Ashu Singh clinched 1 raid & 4 tackle points.
