Patna Pirates ‘raiding’ all the way

Vivo Pro Kabaddi League is going to start from 22nd December 2021. The COVID pandemic put a halt on all activities and PKL was also affected. Since everything is getting back to normal the league will take place after two years of long wait. All the matches will be played in Bengaluru.

Since the inception of the Pro Kabaddi League, teams, players have created and broken many records since last 7 seasons. Many benchmarks have been set. As we are talking about records let us take a look at record created by 3 time champions Patna Pirates. Patna Pirates holds the record of scoring ‘Most Raid Points’ in PKL history.

A total of 2712 raid points are claimed by them in seven seasons. Season 6 champions are on the second spot with 2426 raid points. While another Southern team Telugu Titans have third most (2390) raid points, on fourth place there is U Mumba having 2380 raid points.

Since Patna Pirates had star raider Pardeep Narwal by their side it was not hard for them to maintain the first position. But for the first time Patna Pirates will play without Pardeep since he is now a part of UP Yoddha. In the upcoming season, Patna will look to strengthen their position in this chart of teams with most raid points.
