Patna Pirates to train Aman Raj and Prem Kumar from Bihar
Players were selected under Train with Pirates campaign- season 2.
Patna/New Delhi: Patna Pirates, three time Vivo Pro Kabaddi champions today announced the selected players from Bihar for Train with Pirates Campaign Season 2. Train with Pirates program was initiated last season to identify young talent from the region and provide them with an opportunity to be trained with the professional players.
This season two players have been selected basis their performance during Patna Leg of RedBul Tashan tournament. The tournament supported by Patna Pirates was another of its initiative to promote the sport amongst youngsters.
Players were selected by head Coach of Pirates, Mr. Ram Mehar Singh. The name of selected players are Aman Raj (19) who represented the winning team and Prem Kumar (17) who was part of the runners up team at the tournament. Both the players performed well for their respective teams and were able to impress the Pirates coach.
The two players will now get an opportunity to train with elite players of Patna Pirates at their training camp. The training will help them to enhance their playing skills and provide them the exposure to understand the nuances of competitive sports at the highest level.
