Patna Pirates triumph defending champions

Vivo Pro Kabaddi League eighth edition is undergoing in Bengaluru. On the fifth day of week seven, three times champions Patna Pirates comfortably crushed defending champions Bengal Warriors 38-29.
From the very first minute, Patna Pirates dominated the game. Before the end of first half, Patna inflicted an all-out on Bengal. The halftime score was 21 Patna Pirates & 11 Bengal Warriors.
Patna Pirates with its all-round performance consolidated its lead in the second half. They inflicted another all-out on Bengal Warriors. Bengal had no way to be in the game & Patna won the match.
Bengal skipper Maninder Singh who is their go-to man & one of the top raiders in PKL 8 was kept on the bench for the maximum time by the Patna defense. This strategy worked for Patna.
