Penultimate chance for UP Yoddha to make it to the playoffs
The sixth campaign of Pro Kabaddi League is the most engaging one and exciting one. Over 130 matches have been played withing a span of almost 72 days at 12 venues. The current destination of PKL is Kolkata. It is a crucial leg as far a the playoffs are concerned.
For the playoffs, U Mumba, Gujarat Fortunegiants and Dabang Delhi K.C. have booked their spot from Zone A. From Zone B Bengaluru Bulls and Bengal Warriors hava made it to the playoffs. Still the third and last spot is empty for which two teams i.e. Patna Pirates and UP Yoddha atre fighting.
Tonight there will be held an important match between hosts Bengal Warriors and UP Yoddha. This match result will decide who will be the final team to clinch final spot of the playoffs. As of now UP Yoddha have 52 points and they are at the fourth position in Zone B table standings. Above them there are Patna Pirates with a total of 55 points at no three in Zone B points table.

If UP Yoddha wins against Bengal Warriors –
UP Yoddha will enter the playoffs due to their points will be 57 and Patna Pirates points will not be changed.
If UP Yoddha loses against Bengal Warriors –
Patna Pirates will go through the qualifiers even if UP loses by the margin of less than 7 points. In such case UP’s points will be 53 which is less than Patna’s points tally of 55.
If UP Yoddha ends match with a tie against Bengal Warriors –
Then also Patna Pirates will get qualified. Because of the better score difference. Patna Pirate’s score difference is -36 and UP’s score difference is -61.
