PKL 10: Records Galore In The Jaipur Leg
The Pro Kabaddi League is back with a bang. India’s second most popular league Pro Kabaddi League went on the floors from 2nd December 2023. Yesterday (17th January) was the last day in Jaipur city. Jaipur leg is over now. It was scheduled from 12th to 17th January 2024. Hyderabad will be the next destination. Before that let’s take a look at records created in Jaipur leg.
Records Created In Jaipur Leg:
1) Telugu Titans captain Pawan Kumar Sehrawat completed 100 Raid Points in PKL Season 10. He took 10 raid points against Jaipur Pink Panthers & crossed the mark.
2) Jaipur Pink Panthers raider Arjun Deshwal completed 800 Raid Points in his PKL career. He took 16 raid points against U Mumba & crossed the mark.
3) Bengal Warriors skipper Maninder Singh completed 100 Raid Points in PKL 10. He took 14 raid points against UP Yoddhas & crossed the mark.
4) UP Yoddhas captain Pardeep Narwal completed 100 Raid Points in PKL 10. He took 16 raid points against Bengal Warriors & crossed the mark.
5) Haryana Steelers raider Vinay scored 10 raid points against Tamil Thalaivas. He completed 300 Raid Points in his PKL career.
6) Dabang Delhi KC captain Ashu Malik completed 100 Raid Points in PKL 10. He took 14 raid points against Patna Pirates & crossed the mark.
7) The match between Bengal Warriors & Bengaluru Bulls was the 1000th match in league’s history. Bengal Warriors won the match.
8) On the occasion of 1000th PKL match, Kabaddi veterans like Anup Kumar, Manjeet Chhillar, Ajay Thakur, Dharmaraj Cheralathan & Rishank Devadiga were felicitated by PKL commissioner Anupam Goswami. They were given momento.
9) Bengal Warriors skipper Maninder Singh created a unique record. He became the only player to play 1st match & 1000th match. On 26th July 2014, first match between Jaipur Pink Panthers & U Mumba was played. Maninder played for Jaipur there. He played the 1000th match which was between Bengal Warriors & Bengaluru Bulls. He captained Bengal side.
10) U Mumba raider Guman Singh completed 100 Raid Points in PKL 10. He picked up a super 10 with 10 raid points against Jaipur Pink Panthers & achieved this feat.
11) U Mumba raider Jai Bhagwan crossed 100 Raid Points in his PKL career. He took 1 raid point against Jaipur Pink Panthers & created this record.
