PKL 12: Puneri Paltan Start Their Campaign By Registering Win Over Bengaluru Bulls In The Tie Breaker

Yesterday (29th August) in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12, Puneri Paltan , champion of season 10, won a thrilling tie breaker against Bengaluru Bulls 32 (6) – (4) 32. It is the first time breaker match in the season.

The match was being played at Vishwanath Sports Club, Vizag, Andhra Pradesh. Nothing seperated the two teams as first half score was 13-13.

Both teams were playing neck to neck. As a result Puneri Paltan had 1 point lead even after inflicting an all-out on Bulls. The match was tied 32-32.

In this season tie breaker rule has been introduced. It means after playing a tie match, both teams will be given 5 raids each. The one who scored more points there wins the game.

The score was equal as 4-4 in the tie braker also. At last Puneri Paltan captain Aslam Inamdar scored a point. Then their defender Vishal Bhardwaj scored an point throught ankle hold..

Puneri Paltan won the tie breaker as 6-4. Their raider Aditya Shinde notched up 9 raid points. Gaurav Khatri had a high 5 with 5 tackle points.

Bengaluru Bulls vice captain Akash Shinde scored super 10 with 12 raid points. Captain Ankush Rathee picked up high 5 with 5 tackle points.
