Tamil Thalaivas made their debut in PKL 5 and since then they never made it into playoffs. They always finished at bottom position in all previous seasons. But now they tried their best to chance this scenario for season 8 in auction.

In this article, we will have a look at their last season performance with certain metrices through an analysis.

Analysis of Raiding & Other Metrics

In last season, Tamil Thalaivas, scored 642 points in total in both raiding and defending unit while they conceded 761 points in total which is the weakest performance by a team. Eventually they ended at last position on table.

On the other hand, in raiding department they scored 378 points with 308 successful raids which shows us their conversion rate from 1 point to multiple points is not that great. They finished on last 3rd position in terms of most number raiding points. While, with respect to Avg score, Avg raid points and Do-or-Die raid points they scored 25.9,17.18,58 respectively. Thus, they finished their campaign in league stage last season.

Analysis of Defending & Other Metrics

The above chart conveys us their performance in defense and some common metrices. They scored 192 points with 177 successful tackles which conveys their conversion rate in defense is not up to the mark as compared to other teams. In terms of All out metrices, they inflicted only 15 All-outs and conceded 31 All-outs throughout the tournament which would be reason for such disappointing season.

However, When it comes to game changing metrices i.e. Super raids and Super tackles Tamil Thalaivas is on last position with only 4 super raids and in bottom portion of table with 17 super tackles which hopefully shows they fall in situation like super tackle less number of times and were able to maintain maximum number of players consistently on mat. Finally, in terms of Avg tackles points they scored 8.73 points which sends them again on last position of table. Hopefully, they might improve this metric ahead of season 8.
