PKL Posterboy Rahul Chaudhari Bid Adieu To Pro Kabaddi League

It was a revolution in the sports when Pro Kabaddi League was launched back in 2014. The game & league became popular in its first season only. League revived Kabaddi in india.

Over the years it has given a platform to young players. And established, legendary players became famous & were appreciated by the people.

PKL posterboy Rahul Chaudhari is one of them. He is playing in the league since its inaugural season. Majority of the season 1 players have already been retired.

The much awaited Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 auction has concluded on 16th August. Within 2 days more than 200 players went under the hammer at Jio World Centre, Mumbai.

Rahul was unsold at the auction. No team tried to buy him. After this he announced about his Pro Kabaddi League retirement. While he’s retiring from the league, he’ll continue to play for his Uttar Pradesh state in the national tournaments.

In his 10 seasons of PKL career, Rahul has represented Telugu Titans (Season 1 to 6), Tamil Thalaivas (Season 7), Puneri Paltan (Season 8), Jaipur Pink Panthers (Season 9 & 10). He became PKL champion with Jaipur Pink Panthers winning the trophy in season 9.
