Pro Kabaddi 6 is historical in many ways than one

India’s indigenous game of Kabaddi now has reached all over the world. Its presence is not only limited to India. But it is on the way to become a globally watched game. Many countries have started playing Kabaddi other than India. Pro Kabaddi League was started in 2014. It received huge response by the audience and now it is the second most popular league after Indian Premier League (IPL).

Season 5 was a bigger than any other as 4 teams i.e. Gujarat Fortunegiants, Haryana Steelers, Tamil Thalaivas and UP Yoddha were introduced in the league. Once again Patna Pirates was successful in clinching the title. They won over Gujarat Fortunegiants 55-38 to win the PKL trophy. The fifth season of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League was the most watched non-cricketing property, garnering almost 1.6 billion impressions for the live telecast.

Currently Pro Kabaddi League season 6 is underway with intriguing and engaging matches. From today Kolkata leg is going to start at Pro Kabaddi League season 6. Two matches will be held tonight. Interzone wildcard week will be commenced with the clash of Puneri Paltan and Telugu Titans.

3) 300th PKL Match 

Pro Kabaddi’s 300th match was between Bengal Warriors and Tamil Thalaivas in Season 5. Bengal Warriors won over Tamil Thalaivas 29-25.

4) 400th PKL Match 

The match between Puneri Paltan and Gujarat Fortunegiants in ongoing Season 6 was the 400th match of Pro Kabaddi. It was won by Gujarat Fortunegiants 34-28.
